Four arrested following several Adra robberies

ARRESTED: The four people were allegedly responsible for five thefts in Adra

FOUR people have been arrested in Adra on suspicion of committing five thefts on houses and vehicles in the area.

The Guardia Civil were first informed of a number of robberies were reported by victims about robberies at their homes, with all kinds of items reported stolen at the end of January.

According to reports, two robberies with force were reportedly committed in homes in the area, while an electric bike and €450 taken from a public establishment and tools were taken from inside a vehicle.

Officers reportedly focused their attention on a group of individuals who had previous records for similar crimes and after an investigation were able to arrest the four, all aged between 31 and 46, and were also able to recover a stolen computer as well as tolls taken from a van.

The police have not ruled out further arrests.
