Building big for Vera


STUDENTS from the IES Alyanub de Vera have won a series of championships and participated in the International Lego League.

The competing team, ‘The Paws’ competed to build and programme a robot with LEGO technology while developing skills and competencies such as teamwork, problem-solving and communication.

The provincial coordinator of the Andalucian Institute of Youth, Ramón Soto, and the mayor of Vera and the councillor for Youth and Culture of the City, presented the award to the winning team after they won first prize in Logroño and in Bath.
