THE City Council of Huercal-Overa is continuing with its Erasmus scholarships for students in the municipality.

The Erasmus programme is one of the most acclaimed in the world and facilitates cultural and student exchanges.

The town representative for Culture, Belen Martinez, explained that “once again the government team is offering initiatives to support university students with the Erasmus Grant. In this way, we give continuity to this initiative that has had good results in previous years and we continue betting on the training of our young people.”

Applicants must be at university, have been registered in the municipality for a minimum of eight years, although not necessarily consecutive. The budget that is available is €6,000 per applicant and will be distributed according to the duration of the scholarship obtained and up to a maximum of €1,000 per person.
