Kids’ activities for ‘Clean Beaches, healthy beaches’ initiative

THE City Council of Cuevas del Almanzora has organised children’s activities as part of their ‘Clean Beaches, healthy beaches’ initiative.

Kids took part in activities focussed on recycling and the importance of maintaining the Quitapellejos (Palomares) and Pozo del Esparto beaches.

The council has also organised a number of other  community and environmental awareness events, including another series of events in the districts of Los Lobos, El Calón, Villaricos and Guazamara.

While education is the hope, summer sun and fun is the emphasis for family and young kids.
