Blackberry and ginger mocktail

GINGER, HONEY and lemon are a classic combination that work well made with either hot water as a spicy hot toddy, or simply left cold as in this recipe.

This does call for the quick and easy choice of a can of ginger ale, but also uses blackberries for more flavour.

5 blackberries, ½ thinly sliced lemon, handful of ice cubes,1 small can (150ml) ginger ale, 1 teaspoon of honey or Maple syrup.

1. Add the blackberries and lemon slices in a cup. Add on the ice cubes. Slowly, pour in the ginger ale. Add on a teaspoon of honey and give it a quick stir.

2. Serve immediately with a straw to crush the blackberries before drinking.
