AT least two people are feared dead after a truck drove into a crowd of people in central Stockholm.
The incident was in Drottninggatan, a street in a busy shopping district in the centre of the Swedish capital.
Police said a number of people had been hurt in the incident, which comes after trucks were used in terror attacks in Nice and Berlin last year.
According to eyewitnesses speaking to Aftonbladet, a newspaper in Sweden, police at the scene told people the incident was being treated as a possible terrorist attack.
Other reports have placed the death toll at two, although it is thought that could rise.
Reports of the incident first emerged on social media shortly after 2pm GMT.
Around 30 minutes after the incident reports also emerged of a shooting near the site of the crash.
