ART COMPETITION/EXHIBITION at THE CLUB (The Green Bowls Club) in QUESADA Tuesday 20th October

The first prize in all four sections at this event has been kindly sponsored by Golden Leaves.  Doors open to the public for viewing at 12.00 midday on Tuesday 20th October and ENTRANCE IS FREE!

Judging will take place during the afternoon and the winners will be announced at 5.00p.m.  This is the 7th Local Art Exhibition since the early days of the first one which took place at Procomobel in March 2012.

This year we have a new host and two large bright rooms at THE CLUB in Quesada to display over 80 paintings by 35 artists.  Browse the paintings with a glass of chilled cava in hand and stop off at one of the demos that will run throughout the afternoon giving added interest to the day – learn about Colour Therapy, experience Indian Head Massage and Angel Card Readings with Tricia Lee and watch artist Suzanne Stokes at work, learn how to make your own hand tied bouquet with florist Jeanette Holdsworth and watch a flower arrangement come to life, sit up close and Patricia Creighton will demonstrate card making with a difference and she will also have a wide selection of cards for sale.

There will be a raffle during the day with 10 prizes to raise funds for the registered charity The Childrens Home in Elche.

There are still a few tickets for Afternoon Tea at €7.95 email [email protected] if you would like to book.

As well as Afternoon Tea there will be a lunch menu available – it is advisable to book a table for lunch – again you can email [email protected] or you can call into THE CLUB in QUESADA where you will be assured of a warm welcome!
