PANTO FROLICS – Another fantastic success for SMILE
During the sell-out performances of ‘PANTO FROLICS’, the second pantomime by the ‘Smile Charity Group’, a sum of 2,180€ was raised for the 4 nominated charities being supported by the group.
Representatives of the Charities – ‘the Benijófar Crisis Appeal’, ‘Torrevieja Stroke Support’, ‘The Alzheimer’s Association’ & ‘the Elche Children’s Care Home’, were each presented, last week, with a cheque for 544,83€ by members of the ‘Smile Charity Group’.
‘PANTO FROLICS’ was penned by John Wallace & directed by Pat Thielmann, and grateful thanks must go out to both of them for the time, energy & enthusiasm given to produce a show of such quality. The effort also put in by the sound & light engineers & back-stage helpers must also be congratulated.
‘SMILE’s’ next stage production of ‘Escape from Butlitz’ is now in rehearsal, and performances will be mid-April. Watch the press for confirmation of the venues & dates.
